Grand Jugalbandi - A Grand Success

A Grand Jugalbandi of Chitravina and Santoor was organized on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple Auditorium, Maryland, USA. Sangeet Samrat Chitravina N. Ravikiran and Santoor Maestro Pandit Tarun Bhattacharya performed at the the Jugalbandi accompanied by Akkarai S. Subhalakshmi (violin), Ayyappan Venkataraman (mrudangam), T H Subashchandran (ghatam & konnakkoi), Subrata Bhattacharya (tabla) and Ganesh Kumar (Kanjira). The program was organized by the OM Trust committee members and the proceeds of the concert will benefit Sankara Nethralaya.

The concert offered an evening of divine music. It was very well attended and was a grand success congratulation to the Sankara Nethralaya Omtrust team from Sankara Nethralaya family for the wonderful effort.
