Prof Jay M Enoch's diwali gift to the Elite School of Optometry

Prof Jay M Enoch, Dean Emeritus, University of California, Berkeley has once again showered his benevolence on the elite school of optometry, unit of Medical Research Foundation. He has given 83 cartons of books - a most invaluable & priceless gift that has enhanced the library at the school.

Prof Enoch, who along with Dr S S Badrinath, Chairman Emeritus , Sankara Nethralaya , sowed the seed for the Elite School of Optometry back in 1984. He had earlier donated his personal library, consisting of over 5000 books & journals. From framing the course curriculum to donation of instruments & books to sending across faculty during the initial years of the school, Prof Enoch has helped nurture the elite school of optometry
